Roof Treatments, Solar Panel Cleaning & Sanitization

New Drone Technology for Commercial Cleaning

SkyTech offers a new way to clean your most valuable asset. Cleaning buildings and rooftops is an inherently dangerous and expensive task. Cleaning high rise buildings or apartment blocks requires specialist staff with safety equipment and or the use of very expensive cranes or pulley systems. The smaller residential home is no safer, as ACC statistics reveal. The temptation to climb onto the rooftop to clean your tiles or solar panels can often lead to serious injury, or at best broken tiles and solar panels from the weight of your efforts. Should you decide to pay a professional to climb up, you end up paying for their safety equipment and Worksafe standards, which will end up costing you more.

At SkyTech, we are proud to offer an alternative based on drone technology. The advantages to you as the customer are numerous, safety being the most paramount. Our drones have the latest GPS sensor technology, allowing cm placement. We can also reach areas that cannot be reached by traditional methods. Cost savings are passed on to you, as we do not need to install any safety equipment to protect our crew, like scaffolding or safety rope tie-downs.

Features & Benefits of Drone Cleaning

Safer

Drones increase worker safety by keeping them on the ground while preventing slips, trips, and falls. We eliminate the need for lifting equipment, harnesses, and ladders to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Affordable

Our intelligent drones are designed to reduce the time it takes to clean roofs and buildings. This reduction in labor cost is passed to the customer and results in meaningful savings to you our customers.

Faster

Our drones clean 5x faster than traditional cleaning. Our in-house licensed drone pilots will move quickly and efficiently to clean your property while taking all necessary precautions to protect your landscape.

Roof Treatments

Sometimes we forget that roofs are part of our homes. Often it is only when we venture onto the roof with a hose that we realise how much dirt, mould or growth is on it.  Leaves, dust, dirt and rain make our roof the ideal place for the proliferation of mould, lichen or even unwanted plants when the accumulation of soil is extreme.

Why do we leave our roofs to get into this state? The answer is for our own safety. Climbing onto a roof top with your ladder and your neighbours water blaster is an inherently dangerous task. To pay a professional is very expensive as you also pay for their Worksafe policies and equipment to keep them safe. In addition, you now have a full-grown adult walking on your roof. It doesn’t take much to crack or break a tile, rendering your house at risk to the elements and becoming a “leaky home”.

Solar Panel Cleaning

Our solution for the cleaning of solar panels is the most efficient and modern on the market. Through the use of drones, we can perform cleaning much faster than traditional methods and without damage by touching the panel. In addition, our specifically formulated cleaning agent and filtered water will leave your panels back at their maximum performance. Research shows a potential 30 per cent energy yield loss per year, if they are not cleaned regularly.

Traditional methods to clean the panels involve climbing onto your roof top and then using brushes that contact your panels with the chance of damaging the panels. Worksafe New Zealand places many restrictions and safety requirements on the worker, which in turn gets passed on to you as the customer, both in terms of cost and the time it takes to complete the task.

The use of our drones allows us to eliminate all the associated risks to your solar panels and rooftop. We do not need to install expensive scaffolding or safety harnesses no matter how high your panels are.

Sanitisation Drone Service

The show must go on!

Why should I have Drone Cleaning disinfect my facility?

In today’s world of COVID19 and variants, it is a social responsibility for local authorities to prevent the spreading viral infections and disinfect a property or venue. Whether it be a sports stadium or a public playground, effective sanitisation is now a requirement for public safety. Providing guests, fans and members with a “best effort” prevention will allow more events to take place and a more rapid return to a normalcy of life.

Is drone disinfecting effective?

YES. Disinfecting drones are equipped with the newest technology of flight control and monitoring, paired with a special multi-sprayer disinfecting wet spray or fogging system.

In addition to the most infectious diseases, our drones and disinfectant also kill mold spores and odors, leave a residual protection on the surface, require no rinsing or wiping of the surfaces, do not cause any skin irritations, is not flammable, is not corrosive, does not have any irritating fumes, and will not stain any fabric.

Is Drone Cleaning a more efficient way to sanitise?

YES. Our drones are able to elevate up to the roof, A/C vents, upper rafters, hanging TV and video screens, walls of the public corridors, under the canopy of upper deck seating areas, and within every crevasse where a human cannot reach.

Our drones are equipped with 4 or 6 wet spray tips (60-300 micron) and a fogging system (<60 micron) which maximises the disbursement of the disinfectant spray and treats all surfaces evenly with proper amounts of 100% biodegradable disinfectant in a fraction of the time otherwise needed.

The efficiency of the drone disinfecting simply has no direct competition.

Where is drone disinfecting most beneficial?

Our drone technology is a perfect solution for large spaces including sports arenas, concert halls, churches, gymnasiums, conference centers, theatres, auditoriums, airports, museums and more. Whether using wet spray or fogging, our drones are able to disinfect larger area in a shorter time, but more importantly with greater coverage and efficacy.

Our drones are also a great tool for disinfecting outdoor football fields before and after games to reduce the risk of MRSA or Staph infection being passed from one player to another.
